  • Where can I try on your dresses?

This is an online store, you cannot try on our dresses before buying or ordering. Due to the fact that this is an online store, we can keep prices affordable for exclusive handmade wedding dresses made especially for you.Many of our dresses exist in only one copy.

Our online workshop makes dresses to order, and almost all of our dresses are made according to the bride's measurements.Each of our dresses is limited in quantity, each wedding dress is a handmade product. An individual approach to each bride gives us the opportunity to create an absolutely original dress taking into account all the wishes of the bride.

  • Where can I buy your dresses?

Our wedding dresses can be bought/ordered only on our website (https://alenaplokhova.com). Our dresses are made in the USA, Los Angeles and our dresses are not presented in any bridal store.

 

  • Can I return the dress?

Dresses "made-to-measure" and other custom made items can unfortunately NOT be returned.All sales are final, no refunds are allowed. All our products are made by hand, created individually and made-to-order. It is necessary to understand that each dress is created specifically for the bride, taking into account individual measurements and parameters, as well as needs. And even if you buy a ready-made dress, before shipping we always adjust the size of the dress for your figure. That is also an individual order.

Therefore, we can not carry out a return.

  • Can I cancel an order?  

Yes, you can do it within 24 hours of placing your order, later cancellations will not be accepted, because during this period of time I start working on your dress, buying fabrics for your dress and preparing patterns.


  • I don’t like the dress, can I return it?
 No, you can't return a dress because you don't like it or just change your mind about buying the dress.  Please note that all dresses are created taking into account your personal measurements and parameters.  It takes a lot of time to sew a dress for you, it takes from two weeks to embroider your dress, fabrics are also purchased specifically for your dress and therefore you cannot return the dress!  If you are not sure about the silhouette of the dress, try on a dress of a similar silhouette at your local store.

If you provided incorrect measurements when placing an order or you changed the weight during tailoring, the seller is not responsible for this. All dresses are made according to the measurements you provided.If a mistake was made by the sellers when sewing the dress, then you can return the dress and the seller will correct the mistake.

Note:Claims for the quality or size of the dress are accepted immediately after receiving the purchase and trying on the dress.

  • What is the process of ordering a dress?
  1. Go to the catalog and choose a dress in the store.  If you want to make any changes to the design of the dress, such as adding a train, changing the color of the dress, and adding sleeves, please contact me. 
  2. Select the pre-order option.
  3. Take your measurements and send them to me.
  4.   After I check your measurements, I will contact you.  
  5. Wait until your dress is ready.
  6. Sending an order.
  • What is a pre-order?  

This means that you order an individual tailoring of the dress, taking into account your measurements and parameters.

  • When will my pre-order ship?

The timing of tailoring a wedding dress is from 2 to 10 weeks, it depends on the design of the dress.  Before placing an order, please contact me to discuss the timing of orders.

  • How long does it take to make a dress?

The terms of tailoring dresses take from 2 weeks to 10 weeks, the terms depend on the design of the dress and the waiting list.

 

  • I like the dress in the finished size, but my size is not available, what should I do?

In some cases, I can adjust the size of the dress in case, for example, I can change the cups of the corset or change the size of the corset.  If your size is far from the finished size of the dress, I will not be able to adjust the size to your figure in that case, order an individual tailoring.

  • I received the dress but the size did not fit me, what should I do?

If you send me the correct measurements, then the size of the dress will definitely fit you.  However, in some cases, I advise you to contact a local tailor in order to adjust the size to your figure, sometimes it concerns sleeves, straps or skirt length.  I advise you to allocate a budget for fitting the dress to the figure, all dresses are made online and you and I do not have the opportunity to personally try on the dress during tailoring, so sometimes some silhouettes of the dress need to be adjusted to the figure.

  • Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we currently ship internationally via USPS with prices shown at checkout. Upon arrival the customer will be responsible for paying their own country's specific duties and taxes.

 

  • CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Given the delicate, handmade nature of our garments, we recommend that they all be washed by hand and laid flat to dry. Do not use bleach, dress washing chemicals and other caustic substances. Learn more about dress care here (click)
